How can on-line marketing and marketplaces benefit my business?
Online marketing benefits businesses of all sizes by giving access to the mass market at an affordable price. Unlike TV or print advertising, it allows complete personalized marketing. The main advantage of digital marketing is that a targeted audience can be reached in a cost-effective and measurable way. Other digital marketing advantages include increasing brand loyalty and driving online sales.
How to they work?
An online marketplace connects a buyer and seller through a distributor's website or phone application. Online marketplaces act as middlemen, bringing together buyers and sellers to conduct transactions. Buyers get a choice in what they would like to buy, and sellers get a variety of customers to sell to.
What are some of the on-line markets I can use?
There are currently no online marketplace platforms available in Vanuatu. However, many businesses choose to create a Facebook Page for their business.
Pages are places on Facebook where artists, businesses, brands, organizations and non-profits can connect with their customers. When someone likes or follows a Page on Facebook, they can start seeing updates from that Page in their News Feed.
